Service Description

Description: - Room 5 is available for 8-10 children. Maximum 12 children. - The booking price $90 is room fee only. Booking Guide: 1. Welcome to come in-store for a closer look at the party rooms or view the photos online to find out which room you have decided to book for. 2. Please read carefully the following "Decoration Service", "Party Room Meal" and "Policy" section. 3. Click the "booking" button to the next step for the time session booking. 4. After selecting the available time session you can following the instruction to pay for the booking. Decoration: - Happy birthday sign and some basic wall stickers is included in the decorations. Additional decoration is available at extra charge. Please send email to hippo.partybooking@gmail.com for more decoration info. Party Meal: - After finishing party room booking, you can go to our "online booking" section to book a party meal. - Party Meals must be confirmed at least 3 days before the party date. - We have a special meal for vegetarians, please go online ordering to find out. - Our kitchen can provide all kinds of birthday cakes for sale, please go to our menu to find out. - For safety and other concerns, we do not allow outside food into the Hippo, please go to our online menu to see kid's and adult's meals under the Party Meal category. Policy & Rules: - Please keep the party room clean all the time. There could be an additional charge for the cleaning fee if we have found food or cakes on the floor. Cancellation Policy All bookings are non-refundable. We are not required to provide a refund, credit or transfer if you change your mind. Please refer to the New Zealand consumer protection website: https://www.consumerprotection.govt.nz/general-help/common-consumer-issues/refund-replacement-repair/ for more information. Party bookings may be cancelled, up to 48 hours after the booking (Cooling Off Period). When a booking is cancelled during this 48 hours period 80% of your booking will be refunded and the 20% transaction fee that occurs when making your booking will not be refunded. Any Bookings cancelled after this Cooling Off Period will not be entitled to a refund and will be offered a reschedule instead. Under COVID situation: If a LOCKDOWN occurs followed by the government restrictions or a covid isolation occurs for your family, party room fees will be transferred into playground credit that is valid for 1 year to be used and/or given to family and friends (non-refundable).


Cancellation Policy

☆For Party Room Customer☆ Next Step for your Party Room 1.You will need to order a party meal package online 3 working days prior to your party room. Please visit our website: Party Meal | Hippo playground (hippoworld.co.nz) 2.You will need to provide the name list of the attending children 3 working days in advance of your party date. Please send the list to us via email: hippo.partybooking@gmail.com We will process your order once you have completed these two steps and send you the final confirmation email. And that’s it, you're all set! ◆ Party Room Booking Cancellation Policy: Hippo Playground and Cafe is NOT obligated to provide a refund, credit, or transfer for changes of mind. Party room prices include a non-refundable $50 fee upon booking. If you choose to cancel your party room: ●If cancellation occurs within 5 days of your booking date, no refund or credits will be issued. ●If cancellation occurs more than 5 days before your booking date, $50 will be deducted from your party room fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded or credited to you. Please kindly email us at least 5 days before your party if you wish to cancel or postpone your party room booking. ◆ Party Meal Package and Cake Cancellation Policy: ●If cancellation occurs within 3 days of your booking date, no refund or credits will be issued. ●If cancellation occurs more than 3 days before your booking date, we will refund or credit the full amount to you. ●Birthday cake orders cannot be canceled within 3 days of the party date. ●Entry tickets purchased on the day are non-refundable or transferable. Please note: ●An email MUST be sent to hippo.partybooking@gmail.com to notify us of any cancellation, delay or changes to your party arrangements. ●Outside food & drinks are not allowed to be brought into our premises. We welcome you bring your own cake and cup cakes in the party room. ●Party hosts are welcome to bring their own decorations.
