Service Description
Description: - Free playing in the playground within private venue hire time. - Clients can use the playground area only ( without food private venue hire ). - Customers bring their own food. - 100 people maximum - Extended use will be $450/Hour Booking Guide: 1. Please read the following information carefully and start to make a booking. 2. $700 deposit is required that will be held as a security bond for fair cleanliness, soiling, equipment misused, and/or missing equipment and time of vacancy. 3. Full payment of your function excluding the deposit should be paid in less than 5 workings days prior to your event. After paying the full payment that is required, the deposit automatically changes to the bond. * After 7 working days, the bond will be refunded after confirming that everything is in good condition. If there is equipment misused or extended hour use of the venue we will deduct the cost from the bond and refund you the remaining. * The deposit will NOT be refunded if you have decided to not show up or to cancel your booking. Decoration: - Client can decorate without destroying the original decoration of the playground and cafe. Meal: - You are welcome to bring your own catering by hiring out café area. The kitchen is not available for preparation, heating cleaning your own catering. - The kitchen is not available for preparation, heating cleaning your own catering. - If you are serving a large meal, you will need to provide your own disposable cutlery, cups, plates, serviettes, and rubbish bags. Rules & Policy: - Adults and children over 14 years old are NOT ALLOWED to play on the equipment. - Socks must be worn at ALL TIMES including adults supervising children in the playground. - Bare feet are NOT permitted in the playground for hygiene and safety reasons (socks are available for purchase at the counter). - While eating and drinking, all guests must be seated in the café or outside the playground. - NO food and drinks are allowed in the playground. - No smoking is permitted in the building or the car park.
Cancellation Policy
☆For Venue Hire Customer☆ Please read the Venue Hire Policy: Full payment of the venue hire fee, as well as the bond/deposit, should be paid no later than 7 working days prior to your event date. The bond is held as security for fair cleanliness, soiling, misused equipment and/or missing equipment and time of vacancy. Please inform us at least 2 days prior to your venue hire date if you would like to extend the hours. Otherwise, a 20% surcharge will be applied to the extension price. Please note that party rooms are not included in any of the venue options. ◆ Bond: ●Bond deposit of $700 or $1000, excluding venue hire fee, is required to secure your booking date. ●Bond deposit of $700 or $1000 is non-refundable, non-exchangeable or transferable to credit, unless mandated by the law or government, if you cancel your booking due to a change of mind or personal issues. ●Hippo Playground can postpone the date or refund half of the deposit (either $350 or $500) in case of a government mandate or policy, such as in the case of COVID-19 related issues. ●Upon confirmation that our playground and/or cafe facilities are in good condition after your event, we will refund the bond within 5 working days. ◆ Venue setup and cleanup: ●For Option 1, catering and decoration preparations can begin at the playground from 5 pm (Monday - Thursday) or 5:30 pm (Friday - Sunday). ●For Option 2, catering and decoration preparations can begin at the Cafe from 4:30 pm (any days). ●BYO decorations are permitted but must not damage our facilities and equipment. ●Guests are welcome to hire a decorator for your event. Tables and chairs in the playground area can be rearranged to your preference, but should be returned to its original placement. ●When it comes to cleanliness, guests are only required to pack up and dispose of all rubbish in bags. ◆ Food: ●Guests are welcome to bring their own food, but please note that the kitchen will be closed and not available for food preparation, heating, or cleaning. ●For those who choose to bring their own catering, please provide your own disposable cutlery, cups, plates, and napkins. ●We offer a 10% discount on the hire fee if catering is ordered from Hippo Cafe. Our knowledgeable cafe staff is available to help customise the food menu to suit your party. ◆ Alcohol: ●Alcohol can only be consumed within the cafe. As such, you must hire the cafe. ●The cafe has a $300 surcharge for BYO alcohol consumption. ●Customers can only brin
